Welcome to the 24-D Business Networking Section!
As Lions, we would naturally like to do business with other Lions when the opportunity arises. And if we operate our own business, we would like to be able let other Lions know about it and perhaps "do a little business" as a result. We are not advocating the exploitation of our clubs and organization for business purposes, and we will NOT offer address lists, phone numbers or any other information other than what an advertising Lion choses to put on these pages.
Our intent is to provide Lions with a place to showcase their skills that can be viewed by anyone who visits the web site, whether they are Lions or not. We also intend to post our Lions recommendations for contractors and business's that have treated them well - again, whether that contractor or business are Lions or not.
On the left, you will find pages for Lions by Trade, Lions by Name, and Recommendations. Lions by Trade will take you to a set of pages organized by types of business or service. Lions by Name will take you to a listing of advertising Lions alphabetized by last name. And Recommendations will take you to a section of recommended businesses with the comments of the recommending Lion or Lions.
Most of these pages will be empty to start with, and may remain empty for a while depending on what YOU send me to put in here. I can post business cards, or I can post small advertisements that I can produce for you. To see what you need to send me to get listed, visit the "Getting Listed" page on the left.
There will be a charge for posting your business. We are asking for $10 to post your business for a year; there will be no charge for posting a recommendation. These funds will be held in an accounting line in the District budget for the maintenance of the website, with any surplus available for distribution to other communication costs as the district cabinet may direct.
