Welcome to the Lions by Trade Section!
On the left, you will find pages for different types of businesses and services. These may change as time goes by and I get a better idea of how to break them out.
Professions are those businesses that focus on professional services - doctors, lawyers, CPAs and so forth. Usually we're looking at folks that have advanced or very specialized education and training.
Contractors are those folks that build things for you - usually after you sign a contract with them. Think of home construction or remodelling, landscaping, decks, patios, and pools.
Repairmen are those folks that come to fix things, or you go to to fix things. Plumbers, auto mechanics, home handymen, and such. Sometimes these guys cross over into Contractors - such as roofers after a big storm!
Personal Services are those folks that do your nails, DJ for your party, dry clean your suits, make flower arrangements for your daughter's wedding, and all those other things you need to get done.
Crafts are folks that make their living doing all those artsy, crafty things we wish we could do. Wood workers, artists, scrap bookers, framers, and makers of all kinds of fine things.
Most of these pages will be empty to start with, and may remain empty for a while depending on what YOU send me to put in here. I can post business cards, or I can post small advertisements that I can produce for you. To see what you need to send me to get listed, visit the "Getting Listed" page on the left.
There will be a charge. We are asking for $10 to post your business for a year. These funds will be held in an accounting line in the District budget for the maintenance of the website, with any surplus available for distribution to other communication costs as the district cabinet may direct.
